THE PASSION OF DRACULA
Presented by Beechmont Players Inc.
Oct. 19-27
Anderson Township

Directed by Laura Boggs

This new take on the Dracula legend earns rave reviews due to its artful mixture of romance, classic gothic drama and, at times, nearly farcical comedy. It’s 1911 in the English countryside, site of the ominous Whitby Sanatorium. Several villagers have died mysteriously after the arrival of a reclusive foreigner. Coincidence? According to the notable scientist Dr. Van Helsing, Count Dracula is a threat to humanity and must be destroyed! Follow Van Helsing and his compatriots as they battle the powerful vampire to keep him from stealing the soul of the lovely heroine.

Actor and Actress Needed for DEATH DEFYING ACTS

9/24 – Roles have been filled.

Want to be a hero and save a production? Stagecrafters needs an actor and actress for two parts in “Central Park West”, part of “Death Defying Acts.” This is about an hour-long play.

Show opens October 6 then matinee on the 7th, evenings on the 12th & 13th and another matinee on the 14th. Rehearsal this Sunday and Thursday then every night the following week. Need to be motivated and quick to learn lines and able to make all remaining rehearsals.

Female to play Juliet, early to mid 20s. Earnest & polite supposed girlfriend of married, middle-aged man. One male to play Howard. Good comedic role with many lines when he is onstage but he exits several times for several pages.

Call or text immediately if you can seriously do either of these parts. The other actors ate fun to work with, prepared and eager to do the show and deserve the chance to have their work seen.

If you know anyone who might be interested please pass this along. Next rehearsal is Sunday Sept. 23 so time is crucial. Cynthia.emmer@yahoo.com. 513.227.1334.
