“A Tuna Christmas” is the second in a series of comedic plays set in the fictional town of Tuna, the third-smallest town in Texas. Residents of Tuna are extremely busy preparing for Christmas. Many events are taking place around town, including the Christmas Yard Display Contest, the Tuna Little Theatre production of “A Christmas Carol”, and the radio station OKKK Christmas party and potluck. And with all that, the Christmas Phantom is expected to play a prank involving the yard displays, and the city secretary may cut off electricity to the theater.

The series follows a family of five and the paranormal experiences that haunt them at Hill House, and how these experiences caused them to flee the house. ” The Haunting of Hill House is a modern reimagining of Shirley Jackson’s legendary novel of the same name, about five siblings who grew up in the most famous haunted house in America.

This comedy pokes fun at family relationships at Christmas time in small-town Tuna, Texas, circa 1980. The roles are a reprise of Greater Tuna.
The roles are relatively small, so each actor will play two parts. Scripts must be memorized, aside from scripted radio broadcasts, which may be read by four of the characters; most of the lines are conversation. There is some swearing, but no F-bombs. Although this was originally performed with two male actors playing all the parts, I am planning to use 5 women and 6 men.
