Auditions Announced for BULL IN A CHINA SHOP at Xenia Area Community Theatre

Needed: 7 women, 5 men
Auditions are cold readings from the script, no preparation needed.
Show Dates: January 29-February 6

When a household of sweet little old ladies learn that a handsome detective moved into the house across the street, they resort to murder to attract his attention. Once a short story in Ellery Queen’s Mystery Magazine, it was also a huge success on Alfred Hitchcock Presents.

An unabashedly silly adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s Through the Looking Glass.  With hip-hopping music, it is an upbeat, coming-of-age story that audiences of all ages will adore!  You’ll recognize some of your favorite familiar characters of Alice’s Wonderland along with meeting dozens of new ones:  a baseball team, a gospel group called The Responsibilities, a train conductor, star-struck tourists, plastic light-saber wielding knights and much more.

This clever spin off of The House of Frankenstein finds the Baron, Baroness and their repulsive retainers, Igor and Frau Lurker, going to stay at a macabre Transylvania fortress. Excitement turns to terror when they are greeted by more than a few of their mortal (and immortal) enemies. They are to take part in an unholy survival test involving ghouls, ghosts and the fiendish Dr. Jekyll. The Frankensteins flee from cellar to attic, desperate to escape a fate worse than death!

In this superlative mystery comedy – originally titled Ten Little Indians – ten strangers arrive on an island invited by an unknown host. Each of them has a secret to hide and a crime for which they must pay. A mysterious voice accuses each of having gotten away with murder. Then, one by one, they succumb to a diabolical avenger.
