Cast Announced for ESCANABA IN DA MOONLIGHT at Troy Civic Theatre

ESCANABA IN DA MOONLIGHT will be presented March 2-4 and 9-11, 2018, at 8 pm Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 pm Sundays. This hilarious comedy that takes in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula at the start of deer hunting season was written by Michigan native Jeff Daniels, and is being sponsored by Patty Rose’s Allstate. Troy Civic Theatre Presents Broadway Musical THE PAJAMA GAME

TROY_logoTroy Civic Theatre is excited to announce their upcoming production, THE PAJAMA GAME.

THE PAJAMA GAME deals with labor troubles at the Sleep Tite Pajama Factory, where workers’ demands for a raise are going unheard. In the midst of the dispure, the grievance committee head Babe and the factory superintendent Sid fall in love. The musical features favorites like “Hernando’s Hideaway”, “Steam Heat”, “Once a Year Day”, and “I’m Not At All in Love”.

Director Barrie Van Kirk has been supported by Choreographer Elizabeth Maxson, Music Director Jenny Weber, and stage manager Peg Dietrich. The cast includes actors from Troy, Sidney, Piqua, and Dayton: Tom Caldwell, Jude Couser, Juia Couser, Susan Couser, Steve Dietrich, Sydney Edington, Gage Emerson, Pam Haislip, Kevin Jones, Meaghann Joseph, Don Kutchta, Emma Littlejohn, Susan Littlejohn, Bonnie Lurie, Josh Lurie, Elizabeth Maxson, Mike Maxson, Mallory Pappas, Amber Robinson, Carla Robinson, Michelle Robinson, Paul Robinson, Annie Stemen, and Jenny Weber.

THE PAJAMA GAME is presented by permission from Music Theatre International, and is sponsored by UTC. Performances run November 10-19, 2017 at the Barn in the Park on Adams Street in Troy, at 8 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 pm on Sundays. Patrons should note, each of the shows in the 2017-2018 season will feature six performances, which includes a Sunday matinee performance both weekends. A musical based on the 1953 novel 7½ Cents that deals with labor troubles in a pajama factory, where workers’ demands for a seven-and-a-half cent raise are going unheeded. In the midst of this ordeal, love blossoms between Babe, the grievance committee head, and Sid, the new factory superintendent.

Troy, Ohio – September 7, 2017:  Troy Civic Theatre is excited to announce their upcoming production, YANKEE TAVERN.

You may think you’ve heard every possible 9/11 conspiracy theory, but this story offers new insight.  When a stranger walks into a timeworn New York tavern, he shakes up the regulars, and a young couple finds themselves caught up in what might be the biggest conspiracy of all.  A show full of intrigue, YANKEE TAVERN is sure to be on your mind long after leaving the theatre.

YANKEE TAVERN stars TCT regulars Derek Dunavent as Adam, Sydney Edington as Janet, Steve Dietrich as Ray, and Alain Alejandro as Palmer.  Jennifer Kaufman is directing her third show at TCT with assistance from stage manager, Niccole SueAnn Wallace.
