TCP Announces Auditions for RUN FOR YOUR WIFE

Tri-County Players auditions for wacky British comedy – RUN FOR YOUR WIFE by R. Cooney.
Directed by Leslie Brinkman.

Monday, November 5, Wednesday Nov. 7 – at 7 pm to 9 pm
Sharonville Fine Arts Center, 11165 Reading Road Cincinnati, OH 45241

6 men, 2 women, age range mid-twenties to late 50’s. Cold readings from the script.

Showdates – January 25, 26, 27 and February 1, 2.

The story of London cab driver John Smith, with two wives, two houses – living virtually two lives, and a very precise schedule for juggling it all. This works out well enough for him until he is bopped on the head and, in a dazed state, gives one address to the police and the other to the hospital. Soon, police officers are ringing the doorbells at each home to investigate the inconsistency. Having upset his “domestic” schedule, Smith becomes hopelessly entangled in one hilarious lie after another in an attempt to explain things to his two wives and two suspicious police officers.

Character descriptions: likable bigamist husband, suspicious police officers, overly inventive male friend, insistent reporter, a patient but confused wife, sex obsessed wife, flamboyant upstairs neighbor.
