Sunset Announces Auditions for ALADDIN
September 7th and 8th at the Arts Center at Dunham at 7 PM. Speaking parts include 7 males and 5 females with many more non-speaking roles possible. Everyone is invited – this is a great opportunity to learn about live theater and to hone your acting or tech skills.
Auditions consist of cold readings from the script.
ALADDIN by William Glennon; directed by Dave Myers Dec. 5, 6, 7, 12, 13 & 14, 2014. The annual holiday children’s show travels to a faraway land in the East where we meet Aladdin and his friends, all of whom have an eye for adventure. Filled with spells, potions and reversals of fortune, Aladdin discovers the magic of the lamp and his love for the Princess! Friday shows 7 pm; Saturday/Sunday at 2 pm. Produced by special arrangement with Dramatic Publishing, Inc.

Sunset Players Kicks off 35th Season with Regional Community Theater Premiere of The Addams Family – A New Musical
Sunset Players will open its 35th season with the regional community theater premiere of The Addams Family – A New Musical, book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, music & lyrics by Andrew Lippa.
The musical is a creepy, spooky and kooky love story—Addams Family style. As Wednesday Addams is all grown up and falls in love with a normal young man from a respectable family. Chaos ensues as the Addams Family tries to host a normal dinner for the young man’s family. Join Gomez, Morticia, Uncle Fester and the whole Addams Family in this hilarious, finger snapping good show.

Show dates are October 3, 4, 10, 11, 12, 16, 17, and 18. All performances begin at 8 pm with a 2 pm Sunday matinee. Tickets are $16 for general admission and $14 for students, seniors or groups of 10 or more. Season tickets ($60 per pair) are also on sale for the four regular season shows, including The Addams Family, Aladdin, A Nice Family Gathering and Wait Until Dark.

Sunset Players, Inc. is a community theater group located on the west side of Cincinnati. Founded in 1979, the group performs at the Arts Center at Dunham and has produced more than 120 plays.
