Through special arrangements with Dramatists Play Service, Rivertown Players, Inc. of Lawrenceburg, Indiana will be presenting TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE at the Glenmore Playhouse, 3716 Glenmore Avenue, Cheviot Ohio.

The play is a poignant, life-affirming drama that tells the autobiographical story of Mitch Alborn (Ray Persing) an accomplished journalist driven solely by his career and Morrie Schwartz (portrayed by Kent Smith) his former college professor. Sixteen years after graduation, Mitch happens to catch Morrie’s appearance on a television news program and learns that his old professor is battling Lou Gehrig’s disease. They are reunited and what starts as a simple visit turns into a weekly pilgrimage and a last class in the meaning of life. The production is directed by Amanda Borchers, and produced by Victoria Garcia.
