Auditions Announced for ANNIE JR. at Rivertown Players

RP_logoAnnie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan’s evil machinations, finding a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.

Actors must be 5-17 years of age.

Thursday, September 7th, 6 PM-8PM
Saturday September 9th, 10 AM-Noon
(You do not need to attend both days.)

Possible Callbacks:
Monday, September 11th 6PM

Please prepare a one minute or less song to be sung a capella (without accompaniment), and be prepared to read from the script.

Show Dates:

  • Saturday, Dec. 2 at 7pm
  • Sunday, Dec. 3 at 2pm

Rehearsals:
Rehearsals will be held Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 6-8 PM. The first rehearsal will be Thursday, September 14th. A parent is required to attend the first rehearsal. Rehearsals will be held at Hamline UMC.

LITTLE SHOP OR HORRORS, a musical comedy composed by Alan Menken and writer Howard Ashman, is about a hapless florist shop worker who raises an alien plant with dreams of world domination set to lively doo-wop music and songs. Rated PG for mild language and adult themes.

Auditions Announced for LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS at Rivertown Players

Rivertown Players will be holding auditions for their Summer Musical.

Plan to bring music to sing that showcases your vocal range and read from the script.

Actors 14+ are welcome to audition. Auditions on Thursday, May 25 from 7-9, as well as Saturday, May 27, 10-noon.

Show dates are July 20-22.
