LEADING LADIES OF LEBANON Runs May 26-June 4

May 26-June 4
Lebanon

In 2002, Lebanon celebrated its Bicentennial. In honor of the event, LTC applied for and received a grant from the Fine Arts Fund to commission a play about the women who contributed to Lebanon’s history. Former LTC board member and accomplished writer Jill Davis researched and wrote an original play called LEADING LADIES OF LEBANON, which was produced to standing room only crowds over the 2002 Labor Day weekend. 2017 brings not just a repeat of LEADING LADIES OF LEBANON, but a revival. This newly refreshed tale of Lebanon’s most inspiring women brings drama, humor, history, and beauty to the stage, offering a fascinating take of our city’s origins.

NIGHT WATCH Runs March 10-19

ltc_night-watch-logoNIGHT WATCH
Lebanon Theatre Company
March 10-19
Lebanon

Directed by Jessica Tucker

Unable to sleep, Elaine Wheeler paces the living room of her Manhattan townhouse, troubled by unsettling memories and vague fears. Her husband tries to comfort her, but when he steps away Elaine sees (or believes she sees) the body of a dead man in the window across the way. The police are called, but find nothing. Elaine’s terror grows as she sees still another body—this time a woman’s—but by now the police are skeptical and pay no heed to her frantic pleas. Her husband, claiming that Elaine may be on the verge of a breakdown, calls in a psychiatrist, who agrees with his suggestion that Elaine should commit herself to a sanitarium for treatment. Elaine’s old friend and house guest Blanche; the inquisitive and rather sinister man who lives next door; and the nosy German maid Helga—all contribute to the deepening suspense and mystery of the play as it draws towards its riveting and chilling climax.

Directors Needed for 2017-2018 Season at Lebanon Theatre Company

LTC_logoLebanon Theatre Company will be conducting interviews with interested Directors for our 2017-2018 season.

Our typical season at LTC consists of two plays and a musical.  The plays can be comedies, dramas or suspense thrillers.  Generally we have one production in the fall, to start our season, then a show in late winter/early spring with a musical ending the season in May.

We also add a holiday show that is generally themed and cast for more children to participate.  We put on a show cast with young actors in the summer as well.

Please visit our website,  ltcplays.com, to see information about our previous seasons.

We ask that interested directors prepare a brief synopsis of the show that the wish to direct as well as present their vision for that show.  You may pitch as many shows as you like, but we ask that you try to keep the number of shows to three.

Interviews will be conducted on October 1st, starting at 10am at LTC’s Mechanic Street Playhouse, 10 S. Mechanic St., Lebanon, OH.

To reserve a time for an interview please email Brian Smith at briansmithjewelry@gmail.combriansmithjewelry@gmail.com.
