Gaslight Theater Players Celebrates 50 Years with STEEL MAGNOLIAS

The Gaslight Theater Players are celebrating 50 years with their production of STEEL MAGNOLIAS by Robert Harling.  This charming play, with southern wit, fashion, and a whole lotta hair is directed by Jessica Faye and Lori Bowling.

The fun begins at the Gaslight Theater on E State St. On August 11, 12, 18 & 19.

Performances will begin at 8pm and ticket prices are $10 for regular admission and $8 for Seniors.

KLONDIKE KALAMITY Dinner Theater Fundraiser for RiverStage Community Theatre

RSCT_logo.jpgRiverStage Community Theatre is holding their annual fundraiser Dinner Theater on June 9 and 10th, 2017. Location is the New Richmond School Administraton auditorium at 212 Market St., New Richmond, Ohio 45157.

Doors open at 6:30PM, dinner and music at 7:00PM, play at 8PM. Dinner served by From Scratch. Music by Jim Black and Abby Black.

We are hosting the Georgetown Gaslight Players in a funny play called KLONDIKE KALAMITY.

Cost is $25.00, seating is limited, reservations required.

Meal choices include stuffed chicken breast with alfredo sauce or meatloaf, with sides, drinks and dessert.

Auditions Announced for STEEL MAGNOLIAS at Gaslight Theatre Players

The Gaslight Theater Players will be holding auditions for our next production of STEEL MAGNOLIAS. Auditions will be cold readings from the script. Headshots and resumes welcomed but not required.

  • Truvy Jones 40ish. Owner of the beauty shop
  • Annelle Dupuy-Desoto 19 Beauty Shop assistant
  • Clairee Belcher 60 ish Widow of former mayor. Grande dame
  • Shelby Eatenton-Latcherie 25 Prettiest girl in town
  • M’Lynn Eatenton 50 ish Shelby’s mother. Socially prominent career woman
  • Ouiser Boudreaux 66ish Wealthy Curmudgeon, acerbic but loveable
