Footlighters presents Raising Vocal Health Awareness Workshop by D. Michael Heath

FLI_logoJoin us for an afternoon at The Stained Glass Theatre with Cincinnati Native, Footlighters’ Alumni Broadway Performer, International Concert Artist, Singing Voice Specialist D. Michael Heath. Heath is also serving as Vocal Coach/Consultant for the upcoming Footlighters’ production of MY WAY.

Following a brief Power Point presentation, D. Michael will work with as many singers as time permits. Singers should prepare one or two songs from the musical theatre catalog and bring two copies of their sheet music. Alan Masters, accompanist.

Cast Announced for MY WAY at Footlighters Inc.

FLI_logoThe Footlighter’s, Inc. is excited to announce the cast of its May 2016 production of MY WAY: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra. The production will run May 5-21 at the Stained Glass Theatre, 802 York St., Newport, Ky.

The cast of four will feature Emily Carroll-Martin, Lynn Ollman, Robin Baker, and Rick Kramer.

The production team for MY WAY: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra include:

Show Description:

Ol’ Blue Eyes lives again for a night in this nostalgic song-and-dance revue. “My Way” celebrates the pivotal moments in Sinatra’s life. From the swinging ’40s to the bright lights of Vegas in the ’60s and beyond, MY WAY incorporates songs pulled from throughout the Chairman of the Board’s musical career. The cast of talented singers will perform everyone’s favorite numbers, including “Strangers in the Night,” “I’ve Got You Under My Skin,” “Fly Me to the Moon” and of course, “New York, New York.”

MY WAY: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra will be performed at the Stained Glass Theatre. Tickets are available online at footlighters.org or by calling the box office at 859-652-3849.

Auditions Announced for MY WAY at Footlighters Inc.

FLI_logoThe Footlighter’s, Inc. is excited to announce auditions for its May 2016 production of MY WAY: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra.

Auditions will be held on Jan. 17 and 18 from 7pm-9pm, with callbacks being held on Jan. 19, beginning at 7pm. Auditions and callbacks will take place at the Stained Glass Theatre, 802 York St. in Newport, KY.

  • Must prepare 16-32 bars of a song in the style of Frank Sinatra OR you may prepare a Frank Sinatra song that is not “My Way” or “New York, New York.”
  • An accompanist will be provided.

  • The show features four adult singers with strong vocal presence and the ability to sing tight harmonies: two women (a soprano and alto) and two men (a tenor and bass).
