Auditions Announced for HONK! at East Side Players

esp_logoAuditions for HONK! Will be held Sundays April 30 and May 7th (1:30– 4:30 PM), at the Tom Stone Blue Ash Amphitheater, in the Blue Ash Nature Park, 4433 Cooper Road (near the intersection of Cooper and Reed Hartman).

Who should audition? EVERYONE! East Side Players prides itself on the involvement of all ages and abilities. From young children to retirees to entire families, ESP has unlimited opportunities to be part of the show. Auditions are a no-pressure effort and are an encouraging, nurturing and FUN environment. Auditions Announced for Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID at East Side Players

esp_logoAuditions for Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID will take place on Sundays March 12 (2:30 – 5:30) + 19th (1:30 – 4:30 PM), at the Blue Ash Presbyterian Church, 4309 Cooper Road (at the intersection of
Cooper and Reed Hartman…..or otherwise known to our group members as the church that shares the amphitheater parking lot!).

Auditions will be scheduled, and reservations are requested. “Walk ins” the days of the auditions may be scheduled on a first come, first serve basis, into any remaining unscheduled audition time slots if time permits. With a reservation, the whole audition process should take about an hour or less, without a reservation, plan on spending some time. No food or drink (other than water) will be permitted to be brought into the building.

Audition Reservations
To complete an audition reservation, you will need to have 3 things…an up to date “registration form,” an “audition form,” and a scheduled audition time.

Matilda and Miss Honey have a profound effect on each other and together they dare to take a stand against Miss Trunchbull to change their destiny.

Revisit your favorite characters in this colorful adventure through Dr. Seuss’s beloved stories! Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, and he must also guard an abandoned egg left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird.  Although Horton faces ridicule, danger and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him.  Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant!
