Dayton Contemporary Dance Company celebrates women’s history in an evening of 4 works choreographed by 4 women choreographers 4 humanity and rooted in DCDC’s rich dance legacy. Debbie Blunden-Diggs, Elizabeth Ramsey, Crystal Michelle and Countess Winfrey transform the Jarson Kaplan Theatre stage with innovative works exploring the vitality and intricacies of the human condition. Explosive, introspective, uplifting, athletic, and layered, this promises to be a night to remember.

Auditions Announced for Dayton Contemporary Dance Company

DCDC_Auditions logoWe’re seeking male & female dancers, ages 18-24, to join our Dayton Contemporary Dance Second Company. Our preprofessional dance ensemble provides free training & opportunities for community engagement & dance performances. The position is nonsalaried.

Auditions are June 23. Registration starts at 10am, the audition will run 11am to 1pm, at our studios, located at 840 Germantown St., Dayton.

The cost is $20. Bring ballet & jazz shoes, head and full body shots, and a resume.

  • Scott Stoney announced that he will be co-directing The Human Race Theatre Company’s last production of their 2014-15 season, CROWNS. His co-director is Debbie Blunden-Diggs, the Artistic Director of Dayton Contemporary Dance Company.
