Current Productions Suspended at Know Theatre

KTC_Lets Play logoIn light of the rapidly developing circumstances regarding COVID-19, we’ve decided the best way to serve the community is to suspend current productions for the time being.

We are working on ways we can continue to deliver the work of our community of artists to our audiences in a remote fashion – stay tuned as those developments roll out.

But until then, if you already have tickets for an upcoming performance, you have a couple options:

  • We can convert your ticket to an account credit for a future Know show
  • We can convert your ticket to a tax-deductible donation

You can give us a call at 513-300-5669 or email info@knowtheatre.com with any questions you may have. We’re here to help!

Thank you for being part of the Know family. We wouldn’t be here without you – stay safe and take care of each other.

Events In Process of Being Rescheduled at Cincinnati Arts Association

caa_logo

Updated information as of 1pm on Fri, March 13th.

CINCINNATI, OH – Yesterday, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine issued an order banning public gatherings of 100 or more people until further notice to slow the spread of the coronavirus. This directive remains in effect until the State of Emergency is lifted or the Director of Health rescinds the order. We anticipate it will be several weeks at minimum.

The Cincinnati Arts Association, as well as the resident companies at the Aronoff Center and Music Hall, began to take action on Governor DeWine’s directive immediately following the announcement. We appreciate the leadership of our state and local officials, and will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation as it evolves to ensure the health and safety of our audiences, artists, staff, and volunteers. This remains our number one priority.

FOR INFORMATION ABOUT EVENTS PRESENTED/PRODUCED BY ARONOFF CENTER AND MUSIC HALL RESIDENT COMPANIES, please contact the individual arts organizations or visit their websites:  Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Cincinnati, presented by TriHealth; Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and Cincinnati Pops Orchestra; May Festival; Cincinnati Ballet; Cincinnati Opera; Cincinnati Boychoir; Cincinnati Music Theatre; Cincinnati Playwrights Initiative; Contemporary Dance Theater; Exhale Dance Theater; Mamluft&Company Dance; Revolution Dance Theatre.

OTHER EVENTS
Currently, we are working to reschedule as many events as possible through April 12. This process may take some time. For the events we are able to reschedule, ticketholders will be notified of the new date and ticket information/options. The most up-to-date status of these events is available on our website.

If an event cancels, all tickets and fees will be automatically refunded to the original method of payment. Cash purchases will be refunded by check. If you have questions, contact CAA Ticketing Services at (513) 621-2787 [ARTS] or ticketing@cincinnnatiarts.org. NOTE: CAA cannot refund tickets purchased from a ticket reseller. Contact the reseller directly regarding its refund policies.

If the status changes for events scheduled after April 12, we will notify all ticketholders by email and/or phone before the event. The latest updates will be posted on our website and our Facebook event pages.

We will continue to follow the guidance of the State of Ohio, the City of Cincinnati, Hamilton County, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and local health officials, and make future decisions based on the most current directives and in response to changing conditions/timelines.

Our thoughts are with the many individuals and families who are and will be affected by the coronavirus. With your ongoing support, we look forward to returning to business as normal and to our mission of bringing Tri-state audiences world-class arts and entertainment events that elevate the human spirit.

INTO THE WOODS Rehearsals Cancelled Through April 3 at Royal Theatre Company

RTC_logoWe have been closely monitoring the Coronavirus (Covid-19) recommendations from our local, state, and federal leaders to ensure that we maintain a safe environment for all our students, actors, directors, and volunteers. The Ohio Governor’s Office just announced that all Ohio schools will be required to close as of the end-of-school-day on Monday, March 16 through at least April 3.

As a result, we are going to follow our state government’s lead and CANCEL all Into the Woods rehearsals between March 16 – April 6.

Please know this is a hard decision for us to make, but we believe it’s the right one. The safety and well-being of everyone in our ROYAL family is of utmost importance to us, and it is our responsibility to do our part for the good of all. Although we had already ramped up our cleaning regimen when we learned of the virus, we will take measures to have the studio thoroughly cleaned and sanitized while it is closed.

As you know from the news coverage, this is an evolving situation that we will continue to monitor on a daily basis. At this point, it is our hope that the show will still go on, but rest assured, the safety and well-being of everyone in our ROYAL family is our top priority. We will continue to monitor the situation and take guidance from our local, state, and federal officials to make any future decisions regarding rehearsals and our performances. We will be sure to keep you informed of any future changes/decisions that need to be made.

Here are some helpful links to stay on top of what’s happening with the virus and recommendations to prevent its spread:

We wish good health for all of you, and we’ll look forward to seeing you again soon!
