CFF17: RUMI’S FIELD

RUMI’S FIELD is a dance-theater work that reaffirms our intimate connection the elements – earth, water, wind, fire, and space. Using a rich Indian classical and semi-classical soundscape as the backdrop, this work speaks of nature in close and intimate terms. Whoever has not heard of passion described in terms of fire? Don’t we all crave both closeness as well as ‘space’ in our relationships? Isn’t it true that we sometimes desire to feel more ‘grounded’?
