Students interested in CCM Prep’s Junior Musical Theatre Intensive Performance Troupe will be able to submit audition material July 15-August 15.

The Junior MTI Performance Troupe provides a challenging and disciplined educational experience for middle school students who have a special interest in the production of musical theatre.

Students younger than 10, or older than 14 will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and a decision will be made that best serves the student’s educational interests and the program’s needs.

The students receive instruction in audition preparation, vocal music, choreography, and performance technique while working toward a full scale musical production of “Singin’ in the Rain, Jr.” in May in CCM’s Cohen Family Studio Theater. The students in this class also will present a 15 minute excerpt of “Singin’ in the Rain, Jr.” and attend the Junior Theater Festival in Atlanta, Georgia over Martin Luther King Weekend.
