Zombie Call

TAINTED LOVE: A ZOMBIE-HUMAN LOVE STORY, a show appearing as part of the 2012 Cincinnati Fringe Festival, is in need of Zombies extras.

We are looking for people who would love becoming a Zombie, dressing like a Zombie or Zombie celebrity, covering themselves with fake blood, moaning on cue, and causing mayhem and mischief as needed.

We are also in need of a blond actress who can play a Zombie Jessica Simpson.

All ages, races, and genders are encouraged to apply.

Time Commitment:
A few rehearsals prior to opening and the five performances during Fringe. Tainted Love opens on Friday, June 1 at 8:45 pm and has the rest of its performances on Sunday, June 3rd at 3:45 pm, Monday, June 4th at 8:15 pm, Thursday, June 7 at 9:15 pm, and Saturday, June 9 at 6:00 pm.

2012 Fringe Schedule Grid

I’ve taken the CFF ’12 performance schedule for each day and created a spreadsheet grid I find useful in planning attendance.

A few things to be aware of:

  • This is NOT an official Fringe document. I created it from the Fringe website information, which is subject to change. I will do my best to keep it accurate as changes are announced.
  • If a show runs longer than a 15 minute increment, I’ve added another block to the performance run time. So a show that runs 60 minutes is four blocks “tall” and a show that runs 65-75 minutes is five blocks “tall”, etc. Pay attention to the show length when you are considering attending performances at different venues back to back.
  • Boxes with dark grey shading are special events.
  • The document is formatted for printing. It is also view-able on smart phones that support .pdf format.
  • Revisions to the document will be posted as they are made.
  • Please message me through my FaceBook fan page if you find any errors.

Inspired by one of the most popular shows to emerge from the Chicago improv scene, THE CHRONICLE is OTRimprov’s take on the Armando Diaz Experience. The Armando Diaz is long-form improvisation created at improvOlympic Chicago, where a special guest shares personal stories based on an audience suggestion that weave into scenes inspired by their monologues. Featuring 2012 Fringe artists who will peel the onion of their own dysfunction bare their soul, all in the name of improv. OTRi is Know Theatre’s house improv team and member of the Jackson Street Market.
