LSC_Twelfth NightTWELFTH NIGHT
Loveland Stage Company
May 5-21
[Loveland]

Directed by Kiya Fix
Produced by Becky Jones & Micheal R. Kiser

Cast: Michael Yarick as Feste/Priest, Nick Dunker as Duke Orsino, Anna Hazard as Viola, Katherine Anderson as Olivia, Justin Hanks as Sebastian/Captain, Joe Simmons as Malvolio, Ken Macke as Sir Toby Belch, Pettrina Barresi as Maria/Officer, Jospeh Stanichar as Sir Andrew Aguecheek, Andrew Theademan as Antonio & Emily Tilling as Fabian/Valentine

Shipwrecked on the shores of the kingdom of Illyria, Viola believes herself alone in the world and her twin brother drowned. She disguises herself as a man and enters the service of Duke Orsino. Duke Orsino is in love with the Countess Olivia, who in turn falls in love with Viola, thinking she is a man. What ensues is a series of mistaken identities and miscommunications. Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night explores themes of love, gender and societal hierarchy. Many scholars and critics believe it is one of the most structurally perfect comedies of all Shakespeare’s works.

Town Hall Theatre
May 5-21
[Centerville]

Matilda has astonishing wit, intelligence… and special powers! She’s unloved by her cruel parents but impresses her schoolteacher, the highly loveable Miss Honey. Matilda’s school life isn’t completely smooth sailing, however – the school’s mean headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, hates children and just loves thinking up new punishments for those who don’t abide by her rules. But Matilda has courage and cleverness in equal amounts, and could be the school pupils’ saving grace!
