MOAN ALONE Runs Oct. 8-22

BTPE_Moan Alone logoMOAN ALONE
Beyond the Proscenium Ensemble
Oct. 8-22
Liberty Exhibition Hall [Northside]

We all know that Zombies spend day in and day out seeking human brains to chow down on. But– How would they spend their time if they were stuck in a cabin on Halloween night, in a freak blizzard, hundreds of miles away from the nearest human brain? Laugh the night away in a show that has been compared to a comedy muddle up between the television show FRIENDS and the cinematic classic NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD. Includes dinner.

9/10/21 Covid-19 Policy: This COVID safe production requires masks and will continue with the COVID menu in the same fashion as our show last spring. All actors and staff have been vaccinated. Continuing our shows and keeping our patrons safe is of considerable importance to us.
Note: Always verify the latest policy changes before attendance.

Northern Kentucky University
Sept. 29-Oct. 9
Stauss Theatre [Highland Heights]

Directed by Michael Hatton
Music directed by Damon Stevens

TORCH SONG is the two-act revival of Harvey Fierstein’s Tony Award-winning Torch Song Trilogy. The life of Arnold Beckoff, a torch song-singing, Jewish drag queen living in New York City, is dramatized over the span of the late 1970s and early 1980s. Told with a friendly, human voice, Torch Song follows Arnold’s odyssey to find happiness in New York. Along the way, Arnold experiences love, loss, and misadventure. A visit from his overbearing mother reminds him that he needs one thing more: respect.

Because the safety of our audiences, cast, and crew are of utmost importance, we are asking that all theatre-goers, cast members, crew, and theatre personnel be vaccinated against Covid-19.  If anyone has not been fully vaccinated for any reason, we are asking that masks be worn while moving about in the theatre building, and that social distance is maintained to the extent possible, Theatre staff are continuing to ensure that all main surfaces are wiped down between performances, and cast will greet the audience outside whenever weather allows. As changes in COVID-19 protocols unfold, the TCT board will be following them, and will adjust plans for tickets, social distancing, and health and safety guidelines accordingly.
