DESCRIPTION: Caesar’s Ford Theatre, Inc will be producing three 8 to 10-minute virtual plays about the history of Ohio. The first play is an excerpt from the outdoor drama Caesar’s Redemption by Kane Stratton.
The play recounts the life of Caesar, an escaped African slave, who was adopted by the Shawnee Nation in the late 1700s (Caesar’s Creek is named in his honor). The role is for a 7-year-old boy (plus or minus one year) who is Caucasian and has the ability to run. (A parent or guardian will need to be present during filming)
LOCATION: One scene will be filmed at Caesars Ford Park in Xenia, Ohio (site of the former outdoor drama Blue Jacket) and another scene at George Rogers Clark Park in Springfield, Ohio.
