Seeking Actor/Singers that have comedic ability, move well, a varied vocal range, and are able to handle tight vocal harmonies. Looking to cast three ladies and two gentleman.
To audition, please prepare 16 bars of a song in the style of the show. Accompanist provided.
ROLES
- Andre– African American male, age 25-45. Baritone. An unrepentant party hound. A flirt and a bit of a womanizer.
- Armelia– African American female, age 25-55. Soprano. A voluptuous and sassy woman. Very strong-willed and not afraid to share her thoughts.
- Charlaine– African American female, age 18-35. Mezzo. A sweet, young lady. Very innocent.
- Ken– African American male, age 25-55. Bari-Tenor. Jovial, cheerful, and loud. Larger than life.
- Nell– African American female, age 30-45. Mezzo. Confident and charming. A knowledgeable woman of the world.
