ABOUT THE SHOW
Memorial Hall seeks professional singing and dancing performers for its planned concert performance of The Who’s TOMMY. Broadway veteran Leslie Goddard directs and choreographs a presentation to include costumes, projection design and live band in the beautifully restored Anderson Theater.
Supporting performers can expect a short, dense evening and weekend rehearsal schedule. Principals can expect the same, in addition to weekday rehearsals. Conflicts will likely not be accepted.
Performer pay begins at $500.00 for the entire project. Housing not available.
AEA talent warmly invited to audition.
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
- Please prepare one 32-bar selection in the style of the show. Please provide sheet music in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided. There will also be a dance audition. Please bring comfortable dancewear.
- Please provide two (2) copies of your headshot and resume.
- Performers who wish to be considered ONLY for the tracks of Tommy / Narrator, Mrs. Walker, Mr. Walker or Uncle Ernie are not required to dance. It is recommend that all other performers participate in the dance call.
- Video auditions may be accepted. Please follow the registration instructions below to indicate your preference to submit a video audition.
AUDITION REGISTRATION
Auditions will be held on the evenings of Sunday, May 6 and Tuesday, May 8, 2018 in the Fine Arts building at Northern Kentucky University.
