A folk rock odyssey written by and starring husband and wife duo Shaun and Abigail Bengson. HUNDRED DAYS is the fierce, triumphant story of a young couple who fall in love, only to have their time together cut short by a fatal illness. With the brash intensity of youth, they decide to try and live the 100 days they have left together as though it were the 60 years they had imagined they would have. Know Theatre is thrilled to be a part of the next stage in the development of a wildly inventive new musical, originally commissioned by Z space in San Francisco, that blends the simple magic of storytelling with a no-holds-barred concert.

Directed by Jeremy Dubin

Cast: Miranda McGee, Justin McCombs & Geoffrey Barnes

The brilliant (and deranged) minds that reduced all of 38 of Shakespeare’s plays into one madcap evening of theater do it again, this time reducing centuries of American history! In THE COMPLETE HISTORY OF AMERICA [ABRIDGED] watch as three actors, who may or may not have passed their high school History class, take you on a whirlwind historical tour sending up many of our nation’s greatest hits and misses. Audiences raved about the hilarious The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) and are sure to rave again as we lovingly lampoon the land of liberty.

THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE Runs July 24-26

SSCC_25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee logoTHE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE
SSCC Theatre
July 24-26
Hillsboro

Directed by Rainee Angles
Music directed by David White
Produced by Rainee Angles & Abraham Martin

Cast: Cindi Anderson, Lydia Bolitho, Micaela Countryman, Celia Griffin, Benjamin Gullett, Bob Lambert, Ryan Oates, Zebadiah Pickering-Polstra, & Eric Silcott

An eclectic group of six mid-pubescents vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home life, the tweens spell their way through a series of [potentially made-up] words hoping to never hear the soul crushing, pout inducing, life un-affirming “ding” of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves! At least the losers get a juice box.

The Passing of Georgia Dunn

LTC_Georgia Dunn

Georgia Dunn.

Via Lebanon Theatre Company Facebook Fan Page.

Lebanon Theatre Company is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Georgia Dunn. Georgia was more than a founding member and managing director of LTC. For many of us, she was the heart and soul of this organization (and often its arms, legs, and torso as well).

Georgia was funny, talented, and supremely passionate. She was a mentor and friend to many during her 2 decades with LTC, and her presence here is irreplaceable.

We are forever indebted to Georgia for all of our success, and we will forever carry on in her spirit.

My condolences to her family and friends. She will be missed.
