Cincinnati Landmark Productions will hold auditions for GYPSY. Sunday November 3 and Monday, November 4, 2013 6:00 to 8:30 pm.
Auditions will be held at the Covedale Center for the Performing Arts, 4990 Glenway Avenue in West Price Hill.
For Gypsy (Covedale Show #6)
Requirements for Men and Women (17 + years of age): MUST HAVE A RESUME listing theatrical experience in order to audition. A headshot/picture is appreciated but not required. Auditionees are to prepare a monologue that would be consistent with the characters and period of the show and to prepare one song, also reflecting the style of the show. Please – no selections from ‘Gypsy’ for the song.
Requirements for Girls 7 – 11 years of age: for roles of Baby June, Baby Louise
Requirements for Girls 15 – 21 years of age: Teen June and Teen Louise

GYPSY is the ultimate story about an aggressive stage mother. Join Rose, June and Louise in their trip across the United States during the 1920’s, when vaudeville was dying and burlesque was born. This is a gripping story of one of the most frightening aspects of show business.
