Cincinnati Landmark Productions Welcomes Rodger Pille to Staff

Rodger Pille.

Cincinnati Landmark Productions announced today the appointment of Rodger Pille to its management team. Pille will serve as Communications/Development Manager for one of the region’s fastest growing arts organizations.

Cincinnati Landmark Productions is the production and management company for the Showboat Majestic and the Cincinnati Young People’s Theatre teen summer program, as well as the owner and operator of the Covedale Center for the Performing Arts. CLP also produces events, concerts, children’s programs and an art fair at its two landmark theatres.

For CLP, Pille will coordinate a broad spectrum of communication and fundraising initiatives for the company, including sponsorships, cooperative marketing, branding, advertising, donor cultivation, foundation proposals, event production, public relations and social media.

Pille is no stranger to attraction-based communications in the region. Before coming to CLP, he worked in the marketing communications departments of Newport Aquarium (2008-11) and Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal (1997-2008), overseeing traditional public relations and social media initiatives.

He’s also well acquainted with the theater. Pille began his relationship with CLP in 1990 as a teen participant in Cincinnati Young People’s Theatre (CYPT). In college and for many years after, he performed on the Showboat Majestic stage. He also performed in the first-ever production season at the Covedale Center for the Performing Arts and in many of the seasons to follow.

“I’ve been a part of this organization in some way for over 20 years,” Pille said. “I truly credit those first years in CYPT with helping me realize who I am – not only as a performer, but as a person. For my career to lead me here and to have even a small hand in its well-deserved success moving forward will be something of a dream come true.”

Pille is a 1995 graduate of the E. W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University. He and his wife Krista reside in Western Hills.
