Sara Goode, an enormously successful American woman working in London, is about to celebrate her fifty-fourth birthday. Her quiet, expatriate life is interrupted by a visit from her two sisters. Other unexpected guests arrive, leading to romance, suspected parings, recriminations and, above all, newfound love and acceptance.
