THE DIXIE SWIM CLUB
Presented by Troy Civic Theatre
March 13-21
Troy
Five Southern women, whose friendships began many years ago on their college swim team, set aside a long weekend every August to recharge those relationships. Free from husbands, kids and jobs, they meet at the same beach cottage on the North Carolina Outer Banks to catch up, laugh and meddle in each other’s lives. The Dixie Swim Club focuses on four of those weekends and spans a period of thirty-three years. A hilarious and touching comedy about friendships that last forever.

When Oliver goes on his first pick-pocketing job, he is caught by the police. He soon realizes that neither he nor Nancy are fit for a life of crime. The man that Oliver robbed, Mr. Brownlow, learns of his sad past and brings him into his own home.
