When the Snow Queen shatters a magic mirror that reflects all the ugliness of the world, a tiny shard flies into Kay’s eye, turning him into a nasty brat. When Kay is captured by the Snow Queen and taken to her castle, his cousin Gerda must save the day! Armed with her jar of warm wishes and giggle-inducing snickerdoodles, Gerda sets out on an adventure full of talking flowers and animals, princesses and robbers, kooky curses and cranky imps. It’ll take everything she’s got to melt Kay’s frozen heart and defeat the wicked Snow Queen. Recommended for youth ages 4 and up.

Just in time for Halloween comes a collection of tales from retired witch, Ms. Ethel Appleton. When Ethel receives a special patchwork quilt stitched together from age-old stories, we’re in for a treat as she spins these yarns into scenes on stage. Recommended for ages 4 and up.
As a special treat for all ghouls and goblins who attend the show, we’re pairing this production with Halloween-themed activities at every performance. After the performance, please join us downstairs for family friendly activities.

Recreation Supervisor Needed at Town Hall Theatre

DEPARTMENT: Recreation Center

POSITIONS AVAILABLE: One

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the Recreation Facilities Director, performs professional and supervisory work in the administration and operation of recreation activities for Washington Township. Responsibilities include marketing, planning, organizing, implementing, administering, coordinating, and evaluating recreation programs and special events.

Coordinates and oversees special event preparation and marketing/promotional activities to include but not limited to children’s theatre, outdoor holiday lighting festival and additional community events. Responsible for guiding the artistic vision, managing production processes, and supervising staff and operations for a 300-seat children’s theatre.

SALARY RANGE: Starting base salary for this exempt position is $42,162, with the ability to progress to $55,494, plus excellent benefits.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited or college or university with a major in Arts Administration, Business Management, Communication, Event Planning, Hospitality Management, Marketing, Recreation or a related field and three (3) years of successful experience in Arts Administration, Business Management, Communication, Event Planning, Hospitality Management, Marketing, Recreation management including one (1) year of supervisory experience, or any equivalent combination of training and experience. Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable.

Preferred candidate would have good supervisory and organizational skills. Also have the ability to plan, organize, lead and oversee activities and will possess strong customer service and team building skills.
