Auditions Announced for SOMETHING ROTTEN! at Rise Up Performing Arts

Ready to be part of a hilarious, show-stopping musical? Join us as we bring the riotous world of Something Rotten! to life. This Tony-nominated hit is packed with humor, incredible music, and unforgettable characters.

Audition Details:

  • March 21 from 6-9pm
  • March 22 from Noon-3pm

Who Can Audition: Ages 14-18

Set in the Renaissance but with a modern twist, Something Rotten! follows the Bottom brothers as they struggle to find theatrical success while competing with none other than William Shakespeare. It’s a show bursting with wit, creativity, and plenty of musical theater magic!

Auditions Announced for BRIGHT STAR at Rise Up Performing Arts

Seeking strong singers and actors ages 14-18 years old.

Please prepare a 1 minute musical theatre style song.  Please use an accompaniment track, without vocals. There will be a speaker connection and Bluetooth for phones. Please have music cued up to where your singing will begin.

Auditions: January 27th & 28th (from 6-9pm)
Callbacks: January 29th

Rehearsals Begin: February 2nd
Rehearsals: Sunday 3-6, Monday and Thursdays 6-9

For: Ages 14-18

Move In: March 16th
Show Dates: March 27th – 30th

Based on the beloved, timeless film, this heartwarming musical adaptation features 17 Irving Berlin songs and a book by David Ives and Paul Blake.

Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil’s former army commander. With a dazzling score featuring well-known standards including “Blue Skies,” “I Love A Piano,” “How Deep Is the Ocean” and the perennial title song, White Christmas is an uplifting, wholesome musical that will delight audiences of all ages.
