CINCINNATI, OH – Following his hit debut run in Mesa, Salt Lake City, and Denver in 2017, Rob Lowe is taking his one-man show, Stories I Only Tell My Friends LIVE!, on a national tour, making a much-anticipated stop at the Aronoff Center’s Procter & Gamble Hall on June 1, 2019 at 8:00 PM. The show is part of the Cincinnati Arts Association’s 2018-19 Season.

Tickets go on sale Friday, March 22 at 10:00 AM at www.CincinnatiArts.org, (513) 621-ARTS [2787], and the Aronoff Center Ticket Office. A Rob Lowe: Stories I Only Tell My Friends LIVE! Meet & Greet Package is available for $250 and includes one premium ticket, a post-show meet & greet, professional photo with Rob Lowe, and a signed copy of the Stories I Only Tell My Friends book.  No personal photos on personal phones or cameras will be permitted.

Inspired by the success of his two New York Times best-selling memoirs, Stories I Only Tell My Friends and Love Life, Rob has created an all-new peek behind the curtain at Hollywood, fame, fatherhood, marriage, and a life lived at the forefront of culture for four decades.  Broadway World calls Lowe “As personable and charismatic of a presence onstage as he is onscreen.”

From the Brat Pack to The West Wing to Parks and Rec and beyond, Stories I Only Tell My Friends LIVE! is packed with witty fun and one-of-a-kind insights spanning an iconic career. Broadway World raves “The humor is first class, with the jokes and funny anecdotes keeping the audience in stitches for most of the night.” In addition to Rob’s storytelling, the show will include a Q&A and plenty of insider film clips and photos. “This isn’t a regurgitation of the books, because that wouldn’t be very much fun,” Lowe says. “This is very much its own beast, but it does have some of the same feel of the books.”

Lowe released his memoir, Stories I Only Tell My Friends, in 2011. The book was an instant hit, spending consecutive weeks in the top four of The New York Times best sellers and making it onto GQ’s “Best of 2011” book list. Lowe’s second book, Love Life, was published in 2014 and also landed a spot on The New York Times best-seller list. “I decided to put what would be the third book into a show where I could go out directly to an audience and share and have an exchange with them directly,” he says. “Frankly, I love meeting people, being out in front of them, hearing their comments. It’s really fun,” says Lowe.

Tim Allen recently wrapped the 6th season of his hit sitcom “Last Man Standing” on ABC. He can currently be seen performing stand-up to sold-out crowds at venues across the country. Allen can next be seen starring in Netflix’s new dark comedy film “El Camino Christmas” along with Vincent D’Onofrio, Luke Grimes, Dax Shepard, Kimberly Quinn and Jimmy O. The film is expected to be released later this year around Christmas. He will also be reprising his role as Buzz Lightyear in “Toy Story 4” set for release in 2019.

Allen honed his talents as a stand-up comic throughout the eighties, providing the perfect lead-in to his highly successful ABC television series “Home Improvement” where he garnered a Golden Globe Award, an Emmy nomination, and was honored with the People’s Choice Award for “Favorite Male Performer in a Television Series” for an unprecedented eight years in a row.

During “Home Improvement’s” run at the top of the prime-time charts, Tim revisited his comedy roots with a successful national concert tour. He also found time to pen his first book about the male perspective,Don’t Stand Too Close to a Naked Man, topping the New York Times Bestseller List.   This was followed by his second bestseller I’m Not Really Here focusing on midlife, family and quantum physics.

In 1999, during the final season of “Home Improvement,” Tim was honored with the TV Guide Award for Favorite Actor in a Comedy Series. In a tearful farewell, Tim hung up his tool belt, shifting his film career into high gear with resounding success.

He made his film debut in 1994, playing a holiday icon in “The Santa Clause,” earning him another People’s Choice Award.   In 1995, he voiced the beloved, yet deluded, space ranger Buzz Lightyear in the CGI smash hit “Toy Story.”

In 1997, Allen starred in the hit comedies “Jungle 2 Jungle” and “For Richer or Poorer.” To the delight of moviegoers, in 1999 Tim reprised his character Buzz Lightyear in “Toy Story 2” which grossed over $250 million. This was followed by the hit film “Galaxy Quest.”   Representing the ‘Average Joe,’ Tim starred in “Joe Somebody” and in 2001 he starred in the comedy “Big Trouble.”   In 2002, Tim took on the role of Critical Jim in “Who Is Cletis Tout?,” and he helped kick off the holiday season that year reprising his role in  “The Santa Clause 2.”   In 2004, he starred opposite Jamie Lee Curtis in the comedy “Christmas with the Kranks.”

In 2006, Allen starred in “The Santa Clause 3,” in which he once again reprised his role as Santa Claus.  That same year he starred in the comedy “Zoom” and in the updated version of the Disney classic “The Shaggy Dog.” In 2007, he starred opposite John Travolta, Martin Lawrence and William H. Macy in the hit comedy “Wild Hogs.” In 2008 Allen starred in the drama “Redbelt.”

In 2010, Allen reprised his role as Buzz Lightyear in “Toy Story 3.”  That same year he starred in his feature film directorial debut “Crazy On The Outside” with Sigourney Weaver and Ray Liotta.

In 2013, Allen reprised his role as Buzz Lightyear in “Toy Story of Terror,” a spooky tale featuring all of the favorite “Toy Story” characters.
