Auditions Announced for YO HO HO, A PIRATE’S CHRISTMAS at Kincaid Regional Theatre

Audition Requirements:

  • Please prepare one monologue, which should not exceed one minute, and one song.
  • Additionally, please have a second song, of contrasting style to the first, prepared should the director wish to give you the opportunity to perform both.
  • Please come prepared to dance. Dance shoes and attire are encouraged.
  • Please be prepared for call backs late Saturday afternoon/evening.

Our director seeks casting for roles of all ages. Due to an accelerated rehearsal process, only students in fourth grade and up are encouraged for this production.

Please come prepared to submit a current Headshot/Performance Resume.

  • I can’t make it to the October 1st audition date. Can I still audition?
    If you absolutely can’t attend the October 1st audition date, please call the KRT Office, 859-654-2636, as early as possible. We are happy to try to make special arrangements so you can audition for our production. We want to have you here with us!Please let Kincaid know of any audition schedule conflicts before October 1 to best accomodate all auditionees and our casting directors.
  • Is this a paid position?
    Yes. All Kincaid mainstage performance roles are paid

Auditions Announced for THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER at Lebanon Theatre Company

LTC_logoAuditions for our December production of THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER will be held Oct. 4 and 5 at 6pm, at the Mechanic Street Theater.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER will be directed by Amy Edington-King and Kate Edington.

Performance will be Dec. 2, 4 & 9-10.

This will be a large cast, including lots of roles for young performers ages 5-16.

  • MOTHER (GRACE BRADLEY)……….trim, attractive, 35ish
  • BETH BRADLEY……….the narrator, strong voice and presence, 10-11

Auditions Announced for LOVE/SICK at Village Players

Audition Dates/Times:

  • Monday, October 17th @ 7 PM
  • Tuesday, October 18th @ 7 PM

Location: 8 N. Ft. Thomas Ave., Ft. Thomas, KY 40175

Performance Dates: January 27th – February 4th

Cast Requirements: 9M/9W – all ages and types 18 and up

LOVE/SICK is a collection of nine slightly twisted and completely hilarious short plays. Set on a Friday night in an alternate suburban reality, this delightful romp explores the pain and the joy that comes with being in love. LOVE/SICK is an unromantic comedy for the romantic in everyone.

LOVE/SICK is in the same spirit as John Cariani’s ALMOST, MAINE (directed by Dan Maloney at Village Players in February 2014). No roles have been pre-cast.

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Please bring known conflicts for the period between December 12th and February 4th. REHEARSAL COMMITMENT WILL BE MINIMAL.

  • Auditions will be held from 2-3pm on Saturday, October 1st, 2016
  • If you cannot make the audition times, but think you would be right for the role, submit your material for consideration at a later date.
  • Those auditioning should EXPECT TO STAY FOR THE FULL TIME but could be released sooner.

Seeking Actors/Comedians ages 18-55, for hire as ensemble members.

  • ALL ENTHINICITIES ENCOURAGED TO AUDITION
  • Shows are year-round on most Saturday nights, ending by 9:30pm.
  • Actors are scheduled according to their availability, collected each month.
  • Actors are not required to work every Saturday, as there will be a rotating cast.
  • Actors with improv experience are a plus.
  • Actors will be treated as professionals and expected to be professional.

  • Interactive Murder Mystery Dinner Show set in modern day with no costumes required.
  • This is a paid position, and you will get tips in addition to your base pay.
  • Non-Equity
  • No campy dialogue. This is an improv based show, with locations all across the US.
  • Time commitment for public shows is 4-6 hours including a pre-show rehearsal.
  • No weekly rehearsals required, you rehearse immediately before the show only when you are scheduled to work.
  • Public Shows are held at The Millennium Hotel in Downtown Cincinnati
  • Roles rotate depending on actor availability collected & scheduled on a 1 month basis.

Auditions Announced for THE HOUSE AT POOH CORNER at Sunset Players

An emergency meeting is called to discuss Christopher Robin’s being sent to get “Education.” All of the beloved denizens of the Hundred Acre Wood are there to decide what to do about this awful development. The consensus is that they should run away!

The cast has eleven characters and typically ages six (old enough to read) through adult are accepted for auditions

Auditions will be cold reading from the script

Show dates are December 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11. Friday shows at 7PM, Sat/Sun shows at 2PM.
