With permission from the publishing company, this special localized version will include interviews from the Greater Cincinnati Area.

Retired burlesque queen Beatrice Shelton desperately needs a vacation. A Sassy Seniors Cruise through the Caribbean may be just the ticket if she can just convince her best friend to go with her. Unfortunately, things have not been very pleasant at Magnolia Place Assisted Living since Nurse Pat Jones began working there. A mystery unfolds and hilarity ensues as the gals try to outsmart the evil Nurse Pat Jones and figure out why so many residents have been moved to “the dark side,” what exactly IS that mysterious pill, and what happened to Doctor Head? If they can solve the mystery, they may make it to the cruise ship after all.

SAVING CINDERELLA Staged Reading Benefit on May 30-June 1

Springboro Community Theatre is excited to announce an add-on to our 2024-2025 Season!

SAVING CINDERELLA is a new all-ages musical that has been in development in the Dayton Area for the last several years. Now, this sequel to the original fairytale is headed to New York City for an industry reading. Springboro Community Theatre is thrilled to collaborate with writer Christine Duncan for A Staged Reading of SAVING CINDERELLA!

Performances at the Springboro Performing Arts Center will be…

  • May 30th @ 8pm
  • May 31st @ 2pm and 8pm
  • June 1st @ 2pm

Tickets are by donation only through local nonprofit CE3. Proceeds will support final expenses associated with the industry reading in NYC as well as the attendance of SAVING CINDERELLA’s Lived Experience Lead Consultants (neighbors living under the poverty line who will be consulting on the script).
