JUDITH, DELIVER US, a New Musical From Hannah Gregory, Premieres This Summer

(Cincinnati, OH –– July 2025) –– One Off Productions (OOPs) presents the premiere of Hannah Gregory’s new musical Judith, Deliver Us at Gabriel’s Corner, running from August 1-9. Judith, Deliver Us is a folk musical reimagining of the Book of Judith and is set in a fictional 1920s coal town. The musical focuses on themes of autonomy of person and place, fair labor practices, and gender roles.

Known for her musicals at the Cincinnati Fringe Festival, Gregory won the Producer’s Pick for Descent: a Murder Ballad in 2019, the Critics’ Pick for The Belle and Boone Helm in 2021 and Wuthering: a musical on the moors in 2022, and presented slapstick comedy The Highway Woman in 2023.

Hannah Gregory takes on the title role and is joined by Johnny Kyle Cook, Brianna Miller, Rory Sheridan, and Tess Talbot in supporting roles. Wesley Carman, Jonathan Hobbs, Nathan Tubbs, Douglas Fries, and Ben Dudley round out the cast.

OOPs is excited to host guest director Katie Hartman, who is known in the theatrical sphere for her work in The Coldharts and as the Cincinnati Fringe Festival Producer, while OOPs Artistic Director Rupert Spraul music directs and plays guitar in the show’s five-piece band.

Judith, Deliver Us runs at Gabriel’s Corner on 1425 Sycamore Street in Over-the-Rhine on the following dates and times:

[Cincinnati, OH] – JS Touring announced today that America’s premier comedian, Jerry Seinfeld, will perform his newest stand-up routine at the Aronoff Center’s Procter & Gamble Hall on December 6, 2025 at 5:00 PM & 8:00 PM. Seinfeld has been hailed for his uncanny ability to joke about the little things in life that relate to audiences everywhere.

Jerry Seinfeld’s comedy career took off after his first appearance on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson in 1981. Eight years later, he teamed up with fellow comedian Larry David to create what was to become the most successful comedy series in the history of television: Seinfeld. The show ran on NBC for nine seasons, winning numerous Emmy, Golden Globe, and People’s Choice awards; was named the greatest television show of all time in 2009 by TV Guide; and, in 2012, was identified as the best sitcom ever in a 60 Minutes/Vanity Fair poll.

His latest Emmy-nominated Netflix projects include Jerry Before Seinfeld and 23 Hours to Kill along with the highly acclaimed web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. Seinfeld has also starred in, written, and produced movies (ComedianBee Movie); directed and produced a Broadway hit (Colin Quinn: Long Story Short); and written three best-selling books (Is this Anything?, The Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee Book, and Seinlanguage) and a children’s book (Halloween). He stars in the Emmy-nominated comedy film Unfrosted, which he directed, co-wrote, and producedSeinfeld continues to perform both nationally and internationally.

Cast Announced for DOG SEES GOD at Springboro Community Theatre

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to audition for DOG SEES GOD. We were truly blown away by the talent, energy, and vulnerability you each brought to the stage. It was an exceptionally strong group, and you made our casting decisions incredibly difficult—in the best possible way.

After much thoughtful consideration, we are thrilled to announce the cast for this production:

Cincinnati Playwrights Initiative Announces FRIGHTFEST Play Selections

Local playwriting group selects scripts to support Cincinnati Care Center Animal Blood Bank

Cincinnati—July 28, 2025– The Cincinnati Playwrights Initiative (CPI) Play Selection Committee announced the play selections for its FRIGHTFEST ten-minute play festival and fundraiser which will benefit the work of the Cincinnati Care Center Animal Blood Bank, a full-service, non-profit veterinary blood bank that offers pet parents a full assortment of blood products ready to administer should your pet become critically ill and/or require a transfusion.

The following 8 CPI members will have their plays performed as staged readings at the
Aronoff in downtown Cincinnati on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.
