Are you ready to bring your vision to life on our stage?
The Dayton Playhouse is now accepting director submissions for our 2026/2027 season! We’re looking for creative individuals with a heart for storytelling and community to help shape our next season of theater.
To submit for consideration:
- You may submit up to four shows you’d love to direct.
- Include your theater resume and any production ideas or concepts you’d like to share.
- Send all materials to our Season Planning Committee by August 31, 2025.

That’s okay! We still want to hear from you. Send us your theatrical resume and let us know you’re interested — we welcome emerging directors and new voices.
We are hoping to shape a season guided by the diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and talents of the directors who lead our productions. If you’ve dreamed of directing, this is your moment.
