About the Show: Set in a shabby New York City neighborhood, “Avenue Q” follows Princeton, a recent college graduate, as he navigates adulthood alongside human and puppet residents. This bold, innovative musical tackles themes like job-hunting, relationships, and life’s purpose with catchy songs and relatable stories. Note: RATED R for adult content.
Audition Requirements:
- Bring a list of all conflicts from December 3 – February 9.
- Prepare a song; an accompanist will be provided.
- Cold readings from the script.
- Puppet characters: Demonstrate correct mouth sync (practice in front of a mirror if needed). Be prepared to improvise a scene with a provided puppet.
