Southbank Shakespeare is overjoyed and so excited to announce the cast for this summer’s production of CORIOLANUS. An oft forgotten gem in Shakespeare’s illustrious canon, CORIOLANUS tells the story of a Rome that is viciously searching for a new way to represent its citizens, and the socially self-destructive military hero that lies at the center of it all: Caius Martius Coriolanus. A tragedy of those left behind by the state, and the lies they are told so that those in power can absorb more and more of the state without challenge. Join us for a ballad of honor, valor, and betrayal June 20-23 at Thomas Moore University.
