La Comedia Dinner Theatre in Springboro, Ohio, will hold an Open Call audition for its upcoming production of THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 765 W. Central Ave., Springboro, Ohio.
10:00 A.M.
SEEKING: WOMEN 18+ (AGES 18-30).
- CINDY LOU: Knows she is the prettiest girl in the school and is destined to be the Prom Queen. She makes the biggest changes in the show, learning lessons of love and loss. Mezzo-soprano (E3-F5), strong belt.
- MISSY: The overachiever control freak and has to have everything perfect. She has a wide range. Soprano (G3-A5), floating high vocals plus a strong belt.
- BETTY JEAN: Class clown; always vying for attention. She loses her boyfriend to Cindy Lou, causing great friction between the two for many years. Alto (D3-A5).
- SUZY: Gum-chewing, happy go lucky girl in the group. She is giddy and silly, always finding great fun in all she does. Sweet and soulful voice. Alto (G3-E5).
