As things take a turn for the horrifying, Sleeping Giant asks: how far will you go to find something to believe in?

This dark comedy from Know favorite Steve Yockey [Pluto (2013), The The Fisherman’s Wife (2015), Heavier Than.., (2017) Mercury (2019)], and show runner of HBO’s The Flight Attendant and Netflix’s Dead Boy Detectives, combines equal parts humor and dread in a truly unexpected story for the stage.

Their bond is tested when Remy uncovers secret in footage on Pup’s video camera. Christian St. Croix, author of 2020’s Zack, has written a haunting and heartening drama about fathers and sons, queerness and loss the wrestles with how to bring someone back from the brink of becoming one the monsters we fear.

BLERDS follows DJ, Brandon, and Kiera, three Black middle school nerds as they set off across Washington DC in October of 2002 on a quest to reach a Star Wars Convention and meet the coolest Jedi in the galaxy: Samuel L Jackson.

A world premiere coming-of-age journey in the spirit of Goonies and Stand By Me from J. Corey Buckner. It’s a clear-eyed love-letter to the pop-culture tales that have become our modern mythology, an adventure through Black family joy and the perils of the world, as told through the lens of sci-fi fandom.

Kairos, a world premiere by Lisa Sanaye Dring (director of Alabaster (2019)), starts as a meet cute rom com…and then the world changes.

A budding relationship is tested by the advent of Prometheus, a procedure that grants immortality to a select few. What happens to commitment, meaning and care when linear time breaks open?

THE LIGHT CHASERS

With her father 10 years into an improbable mission to the stars, a teenage girl vows to find a way to reach him across the lightyears to reunite her family.

The Light Chasers is a world premiere theatrical adventure based upon the album Light Chasers by Cloud Cult, produced in partnership with University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music.

It’s a story about family, loss, and the galactic distances to which we would go to heal.

We’ll have racks of free clothing curated by professional Cincinnati stylists who will be ready to help you find your unique style. Partnering with the Boys & Girls Club of West Chester, this swap will have career readiness in mind with a focus on professional business attire and interview-ready clothing. In addition, there will be food, drinks, music, local art, raffles, and more! Free entry with clothing donation, or pay what you can at the door! More specific details about who the stylists will be and more are coming soon.

A new musical following the rise and fall of three little‐known utopian experiments through the voices of individuals whose lives led them there: a widowed woman shoemaker, a Black man who escapes enslavement with his family and a Jewish immigrant fleeing persecution. Featuring gifted actors playing their own instruments and a bevy of historical images, the musical bursts with emotion and longing felt by everyday people marginalized in the young and rapidly changing United States.
