CenterStage Players (OH) produce 4-5 shows a year at Lockland High School (249 W Forrer, 45215). We have produced ACT award-winning productions of Acapulco, Take Me Out and Death of a Salesman among others. You can find a list of previous productions on our website – www.centerstageplayersinc.com.
To achieve our high quality of theater, we are looking for creative, talented and experienced directors who are interested in creating theatrical magic on our stage to engage our audiences. We are open to comedy, drama, farce and musical submissions and are particularly interested in rarely performed scripts, original works, and “edgy” scripts. Previous announcements advised we were not considering musicals, but there has been a revision in that announcement. We ARE accepting application for musicals and straight plays. Keep in mind that our move-in time has been cut from 2 weeks to less than one week at the Anderson Center. The Selection Committee will be considering the short move-in timeframe when choosing the season.
We generally include a holiday show in our season, which has in the past included child actors.
The CenterStage Board will read the scripts and schedule interviews with applicants in November.
