In a world a little bit stranger than our own (but only a little bit), a father and daughter start an online fundraising campaign to commemorate their late wife and mother. However, their idea quickly spins out of control and threatens to destroy their relationship, their town and the world. Hunter and Crowley play an entire cast of characters, including a sadistic mayor with a longstanding grudge, her blindly loyal assistant, a wannabe motivational speaker and a crop of narcissistic townspeople that definitely won’t remind you of yourself.

STEEL MAGNOLIAS is a touching, comedy-drama that shows the healing power of laughter and friendship. As the women of Chinquapin, Louisianna gather to get their hair done in Truvy’s hair salon, they gossip and trade opinions about every day life. The women find strength and comfort in one another as they deal with life’s struggles, often through a fair amount of verbal ribbing.

It’s Dad’s turn to tell his rambunctious kids their bedtime stories but Dad gets a little fuzzy on the details. The “Princess and The Pea” gets a prince with a snoring problem, “The Boy Who Cried Wolf ”cries dinosaur instead, and Rumpelstiltskin helps to turn all that pesky gold into straw! Ages 4 and up.
