Cincinnati Playwrights Initiative announces auditions for BLOOMING, a CPI New Voices Staged Reading of a new musical by Louise Epperson (book) and Bill Corcoran (music).

Cast:
- Cricket (Lead), woman, 55+;
- Young Cricket (Lead), woman, plays Cricket as a young woman;
- 2 Women, 20-30, multiple roles;
- Woman, 18-28, multiple roles;
- Woman, approx. 16, multiple roles;
- Male, 30-40, multiple roles;
- Male, multiple roles, versatile character actor.
Each actor may choose 16-32 bars of their own choice for the character(s) they wish to audition for. The music director will assign a second piece of music for each character (actor) which will be the same for all actors trying out for that particular role.
Strong sight reading skills are a must.
No a cappella – No CDs, bring sheet music in the correct key.
