Auditions Announced for DEATH TAKES A HOLIDAY at Beechmont Players

BPI_logo7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, and 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20 (with callbacks, if needed, on Thursday, Oct. 22). Auditions will be held at the Anderson Center Theatre.

Produced with great success on Broadway, this romantic fantasy has Death taking a three-day vacation to find why mortals fear him. He falls in love with a beautiful girl and through her tries to understand human emotions. The play is a Romance Noir; a fantasy, not horror nor scary. Post-WWI atmosphere on the Italian Riveria.

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.

How do I find out more about the auditioning for play Death Takes a Holiday? Can anyone audition or do we need an appointment?
I am 23 years old with no prior acting experience. I believe that with a small bit of practice though I could be fairly good.
It is my wish to become an actor, I hope that can start here.

    • Hi Christopher
If an appointment is required, it normally lists that on the audition notice. Most community theater groups like Beechmont Players are community-based and open to all. Unfortunately the notice they sent me and the notice on their website has no email or phone contact listed for this audition. You’re best bet might be posting your question on the Facebook event for this audition. https://www.facebook.com/events/1467217093579802/
