CINCINNATI, OH – August 6, 2015 — The Cincinnati Shakespeare Company will offer a free family-friendly performance of A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM at the Arts Center at Dunham (1945 Dunham Way Cincinnati, OH) on Saturday, August 15 at 2:00 pm. The performance is part of the 2015 FREE Shakespeare in the Park Tour.
Set in a traditional Elizabethan design with lush costuming for the fairies and Athenian lovers, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM by William Shakespeare shows what happens when feuding fairies meddle in the love lives of human couples. Comical adventures, mistaken identities, and a silly play-within-a –play are part of the mayhem that ensues. In this whimsical forest, a happy ending is guaranteed for both sprites and mortals alike.
Admission to Cincinnati Shakespeare Company’s Shakespeare in the Park Tour is free. Reservations are not required but can be made online at www.sunsetplayers.org. Arriving early is recommended for best seating. Special thanks to Kroger as the Community Sponsor.
