This December, join Know Theatre of Cincinnati at Arnold’s Bar and Grill for our annual holiday show that’s mostly naughty and slightly nice.

Using suggestions from the audience, OTRimprov will help you relive your favorite holiday memories as they recreate classic holiday stories and show you what your life could have been if you had received that ONE gift that got away.

It’s a different show every night so bring your holiday cheer or your humbug: You decide.

December 14-30, 2014.
Sun-Tue at 8pm.

Please arrive between 6-6:30pm to be seated and place your dinner orders The performance is at 8pm and is around 90 minutes long.

Loveland Stage Company’s HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS

LSC_Home for the HolidaysHOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS, directed by Pat Furterer, is the name of the variety show for Christmas in Loveland 2014 at the Loveland Stage Company Theater on Saturday, December 13th. The free-admission show continues the tradition of actors performing songs and dances from favorite Christmas tunes such as “Silent Night,” “Over the River” and “Christmas in Killarney.” Jack Hasty, Music Director, is leading the singers again this year. The Loveland Stage Company Dancers choreographed by Marjory Clegg will be delighting audiences again with their rendition of popular dance music, including “Rag Time,” “Swing” and “Saint Louis Blues.”

Come and open your Christmas gift from the Loveland Stage Company. The shows are repeated at 5pm, 6pm and 7pm at the theater located at 111 South 2nd Street, Loveland.

Before seeing the Christmas show, visit Old Historic Loveland on this special day. Join the fun in meeting jolly ole’ Santa Claus, riding a horse drawn carriage and throwing snow balls with mean ole’ Scrooge. For more information visit www.christmasinloveland.org.

The Drama Workshop Presents PUTTING IT TOGETHER

TDW_Putting it Together(Cheviot, OH) The Drama Workshop presents the acclaimed Stephen Sondheim review PUTTING IT TOGETHER at The Glenmore Playhouse, 3716 Glenmore Avenue, Cheviot. Performances run December 5 through December 21.

A humorous, poignant and sophisticated musical review, “Putting it Together” is a celebration of the stage and screen work of multiple Tony Award-winner Stephen Sondheim, the foremost theatrical composer and lyricist of our time. Putting It Together weaves a lyrical story around the emotions and relationships of five guests attending a Manhattan holiday cocktail party, studded with material from a number of Sondheim’s original musicals and films including “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.” “Anyone Can Whistle,” “Company,” “Follies,” “A Little Night Music,” “Sweeney Todd,” and “Into the Woods”.

PUTTING IT TOGETHER is directed by Adam Drake, with musical and vocal direction by Linda Abbott, and is produced by Ray Persing. This fast-paced 30-song show features the talents of Robin Baker, Stephen Cox, Cynthia Mottel, David Radtke, and Bree Sprankle, .

Performances will be at 8 p.m. Dec. 5, Dec. 6, Dec. 12, Dec. 13, Dec. 19, and Dec. 20, and 2 p.m. on Dec. 7, Dec. 14, and Dec. 21.

PUTTING IT TOGETHER contains some mild adult language and may not be suitable for younger patrons.

Staged reading. A searing drama about public and private indifference to the AIDS plague and one man’s lonely fight to awaken the world to the crisis. Produced to acclaim in New York, London and Los Angeles, THE NORMAL HEART follows Ned Weeks, a gay activist enraged at the indifference of public officials and the gay community. While trying to save the world from itself, he confronts the personal toll of AIDS when his lover dies of the disease.
