As Jamie tells their story from beginning to end and Cathy in reverse, their lives start to take different paths, and we discover even love can’t always triumph over personal ambition. An emotionally powerful and intimate musical, THE LAST FIVE YEARS won the Drama Desk Award for best music and lyrics and was named one of Time Magazine’s 10 best shows of 2001.
