New Edgecliff Theatre announces auditions for THE LITTLE DOG LAUGHED by Douglas Carter Beane Sunday August 3 from 4 to 6 p.m. Call backs will be Monday August 4 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Auditions will be held at the Dramakinetics Studio, 4222 Hamilton Ave., Cincinnati OH 45223. The entrance is at the rear of the building.
Rehearsals will begin late August; performances will be late September/early October. All roles are paid.
We are seeking actors for the following roles:
- Mitchell – Late 20’s to mid-30’s, a rising star in action films fighting a “slight recurring case of homosexuality”
- Diane – mid-30’s to early 40’s, Mitchell’s acerbic agent who will protect his career at any cost
- Alex – early to mid-20’s, good looking male escort looking for something more out of life.
- Ellen – early to mid-20’s, Alex’s sometime girlfriend with problems of her own
Actors will be seen in groups every and will do cold readings from the script.
