- The role of the Mother Abbess has been pre-cast. It will be played by Bess-Arlene Camacho. All other roles are available.
- The roles of the younger children (Friedrich, Louisa, Brigitta, Kurt, Marta & Gretl) will be double cast to create two casts of children.
- Children and Adults should prepare one song in a Musical Theatre style. Singing a song from the show is acceptable. There are several supporting roles which will not require a vocal audition.
- Piano accompaniment as well as CD playback will be available for the auditions.
- Please bring a complete list of conflict dates from mid-September through early December.
- The production will begin rehearsals the week of September 8th.
- There will be no rehearsals the week of September 15th through September 21st. Rehearsals will resume the week of September 22nd.
- We will rehearse 3 nights per-week, September through October. We will rehearse 4 nights per-week in November. There will be no rehearsals on November 26, 27, 28, 29.
- The specific days of the week we rehearse will be determined after the show is cast.
- The show will be performed at Parrish Auditorium on the Hamilton Campus of Miami University on December 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7.
