The story follows six fictional characters that immigrated to Cincinnati over a 150-year period. German, Irish, African-American, Jewish, Appalachian, and Hispanic characters weave together their common experiences-meeting new people, encountering discrimination, overcoming adversity, and bringing parts of their culture to a new home.

CINCINNATI: CITY OF IMMIGRANTS is the perfect forum for both students and members of the community to learn about regional history and gain a perspective and insight into other cultures.
