Our Town is Our Town – Submit Your Photos of Cincinnati
and Win Two Season Tickets to Footlighter’s

Footlighter’s fall production of Thornton Wilder’s Pulitzer Prize-winning OUR TOWN is looking for your photos of the Cincinnati area. Submit your photos in our online gallery (http://www.footlighters.org/photos) for a chance to win prizes including two season tickets to all 6 Footlighter’s shows.

“Our Town is a play about life. While it is written about 1901 New Hampshire, it tackles universal human truths about living, loving and dying. As such, our production is about the ‘here’ and ‘now,'” said director Jay Woffington. “We are looking for your photos that show everyday life in Cincinnati today.”

Submit your photos of life in Cincinnati today – and come back to vote for your favorite and rate other photos. Highest rated photos will be eligible for a People’s Choice award so encourage your friends to vote for you photos!

Contest Details

• Photos should be submitted in our online gallery page http://www.footlighters.org/photos. Photos submitted any other way will not be considered.
•  Photos submitted should depict everyday moments, images and places of Cincinnati and the surrounding area. Images of iconic Cincinnati landmarks (the skyline, the fountain) should not be used.
• Photos should be simple and show life in our city “like it is” – photos should not be overly staged.
• Photos should be submitted anytime through November 1, 2012.
•  A panel of judges will select two photos that best represent “today’s everyday moments.”
• First Place winner will receive 2 Season Tickets to Footlighter’s 2012/2013 Season
•  Second Place winner will receive 2 Tickets to OUR TOWN, running November 8-18, 2012
•  A “People’s Choice” winner will receive a ticket to OUR TOWN and an OUR TOWN show t-shirt. Vote on your photos, encourage your friends to rate your photos. Photos with the highest rating will be considered finalists for the People’s Choice award.
•  Winners will be announced November 1, 2012 on the Facebook page and Footlighter’s website.
