After her sexual assault, 15-year-old Lauren has survived one trauma only to confront another: a cycle of torment from classmates and neighbors. Desperate to hide from scorn, Lauren becomes lost in time, witnessing the woman she will become, the girl she was, but always waking in the present, to the struggles that await her.
